About the Artist

Artist BIO:

"MammaTrain" Trina R Sellers is the Seattle based "Original Spartist" (Spazzy Photographic Art), who combines light, color, lines and textures to create her works.

At an early age, she was inspired by her grandparent's world travels. Her dream was to be a National Geographic photographer or a cruise ship event planner. Raising her two children first, she attended Visual Communication classes alongside her daughter at Shoreline Community College.

Over the years, Trina has been involved in Seattle's music, film and entertainment industries. She is a former member of the Recording Academy and she is an experienced business owner. In addition to visual art, she enjoys writing poetry, game design and children's books.

Trina is a full time caregiver for her adult disabled son and she is a new grandmother. Her favorite past times include hiking, camping and traveling with a camera in hand.

Trina's clothing and art can be found at MammaTrain.com and can be ordered through ShopVida, Redbubble, Pixels, FineArtAmerica and ArtPal.

Artist Statement:

As the "Original Spartist" my work explores the synthesis of light, color, line and texture through abstract and altered photography.

I play with the details that I see through camera movement or through the use of tools on my computer after capturing an image. Once I have an art piece completed that I like, I create a moving video, a piece of clothing or a design from it.

I call my art work "Spart", which essentially means "Spazzy Art." As an artist, I see the world as a palatte to explore and experiment with.

My desire is to share the beauty and possibilities that I see in the small details with those who would appreciate the abstract synergy within my works. I want to express Love and Light throughout my work, which is all inclusive, diverse and appreciative of all that life, living and the universe has to offer.

11:11 Love and Light,
